Tomas Tatar will continue his career across the pond next season.
Swiss club EV Zug announced Tuesday they have signed the veteran forward to a two-year deal.
Tatar was a pending UFA after he inked a one-year contract with the New Jersey Devils last summer. He had seven goals and 17 points in 74 games during the regular season and appeared in four playoff games.
The 34-year-old from Ilava, Slovakia, was drafted in the second round, 60th overall, by the Detroit Red Wings in 2009.
He has 496 points (227 goals and 269 assists) in 927 career games over 14 seasons with the Red Wings, Vegas Golden Knights, Montreal Canadiens, Devils, Colorado Avalanche and Seattle Kraken.
