Could Nick Taylor return to the RBC Canadian Open next week with another tournament title on his resume?
It’s certainly possible after the Abbotsford, B.C., golfer had a big second round at the Memorial in Dublin, Ohio.
Taylor was in the clubhouse lead at 7 under after shooting a 4-under 68 in Friday’s second round at the PGA Tour signature event.
Taylor has five career PGA Tour wins, including this year’s Sony Open in Hawaii and his historic triumph at the 2023 Canadian Open.
The Canadian, who went bogey free on Friday, is 25th in the FedExCup standings this year and 43rd in the world golf rankings.
Taylor, 37, comes home next week for the Canadian Open in Caledon, Ont.
